HCI Alternatives, soon to be Illinois Supply and Provisions (IS&P) was pleased to welcome some of the first recreational cannabis customers in the state on New Year’s Day. However, we expect long lines and a large demand for recreational cannabis to continue for some time.  Adult-use customers should expect longer waiting times and dress accordingly in the event the lines extend outside.

Here’s what you should expect if you are coming to one of our dispensaries:

PARKING:

Collinsville

There is limited parking at the dispensary. The parking lots at the dispensary are reserved for our medical patients.

For adult-use customers, we have leased 175 parking spaces at the Gateway Funspot. For your convenience, we will have a shuttle running from 8:30am-9:30pm.

There is NO PARKING allowed on Executive Drive.

Springfield

Parking is allowable on any metered parking space downtown (free on January 1) or at the Bank of Springfield Center parking garage at 7th and Washington downtown (standard parking rates apply- must pay by debit or credit card.)

WAITING:

Be prepared for long lines that will extend outside of the building. Dress appropriately for outdoor weather and be prepared to stand for extended periods.

SHOPPING:

You must be over 21 years of age and have a valid government-issued ID to enter the dispensary. Driver’s license, state ID, or military ID are all accepted.

Adult-use (recreational) customers will choose product(s) from a paper menu. Online menu and ordering for adult-use is not available at this time, but will be soon. Medical patients can order from the live menu online and pick up orders when fulfilled.

Adult-use cannabis customers will be taken on a first come, first served basis, however any registered medical cannabis patient with a valid medical cannabis card will receive priority entry into the dispensary.

Customers may purchase up to the possession limits:

  • ILLINOIS RESIDENT: 30 grams of cannabis flower; 500 milligrams of THC in a cannabis-infused product; 5 grams of cannabis concentrate
