DO NOT USE CANNABIS IN PHYSICAL PROXIMITY TO ANYONE UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE.

DO NOT USE CANNABIS IN ANY PLACE WHERE SMOKING IS PROHIBITED UNDER THE SMOKE FREE ILLINOIS ACT.

DO NOT POSSESS OR USE CANNABIS ON A SCHOOL BUS, ANY SCHOOL GROUNDS, ANY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, ANY BUILDING UNDER THE OPERATION OR CONTROL OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS OR IN A PRIVATE RESIDENCE THAT IS USED AT ANY TIME TO PROVIDE LICENSED CHILD CARE OR OTHER SIMILAR SOCIAL SERVICE CARE ON THE PREMISES.

DO NOT POSSESS MORE THAN THE LEGAL AMOUNT ALLOWED UNDER THE ADULT USE LAW:

ILLINOIS RESIDENTS

  • 30 grams of cannabis flower
  • 500 milligrams of THC in a cannabis-infused product
  • 5 grams of cannabis concentrate

NON-RESIDENTS

  • 15 grams of cannabis flower
  • 250 milligrams of THC in a cannabis-infused product
  • 5 grams of cannabis concentrate

YOU MAY NOT GROW YOUR OWN CANNABIS. ONLY REGISTERED QUALIFYING MEDICAL CANNABIS PATIENTS MAY GROW CANNABIS AT HOME.

IT IS ILLEGAL TO DRIVE OR OPERATE MACHINERY UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF CANNABIS. THIS INCLUDES OPERATING, NAVIGATING OR BEING IN PHYSICAL CONTROL OF ANY MOTOR VEHICLE, AIRCRAFT OR MOTORBOAT WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OR USING CANNABIS.

WHILE TRANSPORTING CANNABIS IN A MOTOR VEHICLE, THE CANNABIS MUST BE STORED IN A SAFE LOCATION OUT OF REACH OF THE OPERATOR. CANNABIS MUST BE IN A SEALED, ODORPROOF, CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINER. CANNABIS CAN NOT BE USED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE.

IT IS ILLEGAL TO TAKE CANNABIS OUT OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS.

CANNABIS IS A SCHEDULE 1 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE (UNLAWFUL) UNDER FEDERAL LAW. GROWING OR DISTRIBUTING CANNABIS IN ANY CAPACITY, EXCEPT THROUGH A FEDERALLY APPROVED RESEARCH PROGRAM IS A VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW.

IT IS ILLEGAL TO UNDERTAKE ANY TASK UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF CANNABIS WHEN DOING SO WOULD CONSTITUTE NEGLIGENCE, PROFESSIONAL MALPRACTICE, OR PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT.
